#FIOS DOWNLOAD SPEED TEST PC#
This figure is not far off from the results of PC Magazine’s online speed test conducted by tens of thousands of its readers, which at 49.6 Mbps showed FiOS in a tie with the other fastest ISP, Comcast Xfinity, among major U.S. 4-6 Mbps: If your download speed ranges between 4-6 Mbps then you might have a good web surfing experience. i understand our point of view who can we blaim, but things dont work like that then traffic can go though many ISP. The FCC report clocked FiOS’s median speed at 54 Mbps in 2015 (the latest year for which figures are available). see tracert, again could be other down the line, or both of them have comuincation issue between them, and ofc you will never get why, other then found configuration issue, dont forget isp has to work together, or next case can be more diffcult to solve if they aient nice to eachother. and im not saying ISP is responsible, it could be next jump, so do talk nicly with them. Im not point at who has issue, but i think 2 other from that ISP clould be a issue, and that mean 3 people with you, but contact isp and try locate other thread post was within 24hours ago, or they will maybe reply here or not. Tested the issue on a separate computer experiencing the same 12.6kb/sįrom the above appears this is not specific to my computer but something on the ISP or Steam side Packet Loss: Pinged my own IP and and encountered 0% packet loss

I'm able to download the steam platform just fine and other applications work fine as well. This is not specific to any game but any steam game/app. The speeds displayed represent nationwide averages for Verizon High Speed / FiOS. It appears Verizon FIOS is the culprit - per other users seems there are difficultues in DC / NE US Area '' speed test results were depreciated and are now stored by the providers name, not domain.
